The World Gymnastics Championship, which will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria, on June 13-19, 2026, will be preceded by a special training program aimed at certifying the referees who will officiate during the championship.
In this context, an International Referee Course will be organized in Sofia between November 5-9, 2025, under the supervision of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG). Referees participating in the course will receive both theoretical and practical training, and following the examinations, they will be officially certified to serve at the 2026 World Championship.
Officials emphasize that the course will not only enhance the overall quality of the organization but also contribute significantly to ensuring fair and accurate decisions throughout the competitions.
